Provider

I gave my letter of resignation on Monday. My last day will be the 10th of May and we are leaving for Germany on the 16th of May for three months.

Neither of us will have jobs this summer, and neither of us know at the moment where we will work when we get back. All we know is that this is the next step of obedience for us. We are trusting in God to be our Provider. We stand in awe now of all the ways God has provided for us thus far in our marriage. Everything we have and the things we’ve gotten to do have all been blessings from the Father. God is teaching us how to trust Him and rely on Him for everything, a hard lesson some days.

My heart’s cry is that Christ would be glorified among the nations. Our journey of faith doesn’t make sense to the world, or even to other believers at times, but this journey of ours is what motivates us, drives us, completes us. The sacrifices we will make will be hard to make, and the road ahead will not always be easy, yet we know the cost is worth it. It has been so far.
