Kids Are So Cute

A mom came up to Marcus and me yesterday dying to share with us what her young son, Sam, just asked her.

Sam said to his mom, "Mom, why isn't Marcus dead?" She responded curiously and calmly, "What do you mean, Sam?" and Sam replied, "Well when people get big they die, right? So why isn't Marcus dead?"

She went on to explain to her son the difference between growing bigger and growing older, and I think he understands now why Marcus is still living and breathing. We sure did have a good laugh.
