I haven't posted in so long and I really don't have anything to say but I want to try to get in the habit of posting again so here it goes.
Marcus spent the weekend with his family. His dad is not doing well health wise and we both thought it would be good for Marcus to get to spend some one-on-one time with his dad. Marcus will get back in an hour. I hope that it was a good weekend for both him and his family.
I took the opportunity to spend this weekend with my family as well. I stayed with them this weekend... It was a very productive weekend. We rented the movie CARS, made Christmas cookies, went Christmas shopping, wrapped presents, watch the movie THE HOLIDAY with my older sister, and enjoyed going out to eat with my parents.
I am trying to enjoy all the opportunities I have to spend with my family with the upcoming move. I don't think it's hit me yet all the changes that are yet to come, but I know that a year from know I will look back and cherish this past weekend.

It's Good To Be Alive
This picture was taken one week after I had brain surgery three years ago. To God be the glory.
The link below was what I journaled about and wrestled through before I had the brain tumor removed three years ago.

A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words...
I photograped my first wedding this weekend. The couple is in our Small Group and was in need of a photographer and our friends recommended me. I was a nervous trying to make sure I got all the shots that the bride and groom wanted. Everything went really well. They are a cute couple so it was easy to photograph them.

This quote by Dr. Martin Luther King has really challenged me and changed my life in the last month.
If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare composed poetry. He should sweep street so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, “Here lived a great street sweeper, who did his job well.”
